This Magnesium Lotion combines Grass-Fed & Finished Tallow, Avocado Oil, Shea Butter, Mango Butter, Beeswax and Lavender Essential Oil (unless you choose the sensitive version, which contains no essential oils).
Magnesium plays an important role in the body’s optimal functioning — supporting better sleep, digestive health, hormone balance and overall homeostasis.
This formula is made by combining highly concentrated magnesium brine (created with magnesium chloride flakes sourced from Ancient Minerals and dissolved in distilled water) with deeply nourishing traditional fats and butters.
Each 8 oz jar contains approximately 6,800 mg of elemental magnesium, providing about:
•430 mg per tablespoon
•148 mg per teaspoon
For comparison, most oral magnesium supplements contain around 200 mg per tablet, meaning even a small topical application provides a substantial amount of magnesium while allowing the body to absorb it gradually through the skin.
Magnesium brine can certainly be used on its own, but many people find magnesium oil sticky or irritating because it sits directly on the skin. By suspending the magnesium in a rich base of tallow, oils, and butters, this lotion buffers the mineral, helping to reduce irritation while creating a much smoother, more comfortable application.

These animals live their lives ethically on pasture, grazing on farms practicing regenerative agriculture, which supports both animal welfare and environmental health. Because they eat their natural diets, the resulting tallow is deeply nourishing and rich in skin-supportive nutrients.

Note: Although this formula contains water ingredients, preservatives are not required. The high concentration of magnesium chloride brine acts similarly to a salted solution, naturally discouraging microbial growth.
